How to set LOCAL_LISTENER Parameter in Oracle Databases

Sometimes, you need to set local_listener parameter to defne listener to database. I always make syntax error when trying to set local_listener parameter. Basically, you can open sqlplus and execute below command to set local_listener.

Connet to sqlplus as sysdba

ALTER SYSTEM SET LOCAL_LISTENER='(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOl=TCP)(HOST=myhost)(PORT=1521))' SCOPE=BOTH;

  1. You really make it appear so easy with your presentation however I to find this matter to be really one thing which I feel I would never understand. It sort of feels too complicated and very broad for me. I’m having a look ahead on your next put up, I’ll try to get the cling of it!
